Musicals and soccer games
Monday, Jun. 10, 2002 - 10:07 PM Song: Listen to my heart, can you hear it sing? Come back to me, and forgive everything The finale version of "Come What May" is my favorite!! Dream scribble (Sat night): i am dating an aspiring model/actor and we get married. after we get married he gets really famous. we have a baby girl. he starts getting really possessive and controlling. after it's too late i realize that he has cut me off from my friends and family. he decides that we are going to move arizone but im not allowed to tell my family. im writing them a letter but cant mention where we are moving. so i take the baby's milk and use that to write the word "arizona" on the letter. after i mail it he decides that we'll be moving to long island instead! somehow i get away from him with the baby and am running away from him. we end up at some abandoned house and now he has gone really psycho and is trying to kill me. i somehow have some kind of electric power (like the movie "powder") and i zap him and kill him. the end. I really dream this stuff, I swear! Well I wanted to write an entry about my latest Moulin Rouge obsession. But before I did that, I checked out Carlos' page and saw that he had written about it too!! We are on the same wavelength! Or it could be cuz we were just talking about it this afternoon! Haha! But yes, I was telling him that I am not a romantic or mushy person. I do not cry at movies. But this movie, surprisingly, touches my heart! I'm sure it has a lot to do with it being a musical and having the music incorporated into the story. Ewan McGregor's singing voice is so amazing it makes my heart ache. Ok, enough mushiness! What am I turning into??? So I've been following the World Cup lately. I was really excited about Korea's win against Poland last week and early this morning (2:20 AM) I watched the Korea vs. USA game. I went to bed at 9 and forced myself to sleep so that I could wake up later to watch the game. My parents also woke up again, even my mom who has to leave the house at 6! My brother didn't quite make it. Babo! What an exciting game!! It was nothing like the Korea vs. Poland game! After watching the US, I noticed how sluggish and slow Poland was! Both Korea and Poland are very fast and aggressive teams. I have to admit, USA's keeper, Friedel (?) is very good. There were 2 US players that I really didn't like. One was Beasly who just seemed to have a really bad attitude throughout the whole game. And then there was O'Brian. He and a Korean player fell after a lil stumble into each other and when the Korean player reached out his hand to help him up, O'Brian kinda just slapped it away. Nice sportsmanship there asshole! The best part of the game was, of course, when Ahn Jung Hwan scored but my personal favorite part was what happened afterwards! I had heard that he was planning to do it but didn't know if it was true, but he did it!! After scoring, he ran over to the corner and made motions like a speed skater, poking fun at Ohno. Puahahah that was hilarious!! I was watching coverage of the game on the Korean news earlier tonight and that brought on a strange tightening in my chest. Geez, what the hell is happening to me?!! Anyways just seeing Korea's enthusiasm, joy and support filled me with pride and happiness for my culture and my people. *grin* Ok no picture again. I haven't taken any new pics in a while! Quick question...what makes a date a date? Does just going out with the guy to dinner, movie, whatever make it a date? Is it a date when he asks if you want to go out on a date with him and not a date if he just asks you to hang out? I don't think I've ever considered any of my "hanging out with a guy", a date. Maybe it was a date and I just didn't know it!
