My pheromones attract only bartenders
Thursday, May. 02, 2002 - 2:29 PM Song: You can be my someone, you can be my sea Sometimes I get in a very "writing" mood. All of a sudden I feel that my writing will be great! So I write it down and read it later, only to find out that I wasn't so "on". Well, I'm in one of those moods now. Let's see how this one turns out. Shit...I think it's gone. Work can sap your creativity like that. I feel so blessed by everyone's positive comments on my belly ring and tattoo, even though you had to see my flabby tummy and a peek of my ass. Not the prettiest sight in the world, I know. The belly ring is healing well. It's only been 5 days. Slight swelling (or is that just my flab?) and a lil itchiness. The most annoying thing is having to open up my pants whenever I sit down so that they won't rub against the ring. Actually that's not the most annoying. The most annoying is when I have to remember to close them back up before I get up. Otherwise I'd be flashing everyone in my office. I have forgotten once or twice. Rasee, you should definitely get one! The pain isn't THAT bad! Last night Jen and I went to Applebee's again. By the way, we were there the day before also. Just reminding everyone of how much of a lush I am. We stayed for about 6 hours. When Jen and I go out, just the two of us, we talk so much that we lose track of the time. It's a wonder we have so much to talk about, considering that we see each other every day at the same job and at the same church. Joe (Assman, as I like to call him behind his back) was there again. Jen was happy, peeking at his butt every so often. Fernando, sneaky kissy guy, stopped by to eat and he was talking shit to me. What is it with me and bartenders? Do I give off some kind of weird bartender attracting funk? So he keeps asking if I remember that Friday. I'm like of course, I never said I didn't. Duh! He said something to which I replied to him negatively and he says, ooh I like challenging women. Ugh! *rolling eyes* I think that's what it is. Guys are attracted to me because they sense a challenge. Which only makes them try harder. Which only makes me more aloof, which they see as a challenge. Argh, the never ending cycle of my love life. Oh and then a boy tried to talk to us. And by boy I mean a 17 year old. Haha! He was trying so hard to show us that he was "down with Asians". For example, Yea my best friend is Asian and yea I just had Asian food today. Good for you there buddy! He also made the big mistake of calling us Orientals, which I had to correct him for. Tsk tsk, big faux pas right there kid. But his immaturity and eagerness was amusing and we talked for a bit. He even insisetd on walking us out the door when we left and giving us a kiss on the cheek. Trying to be a mature gentleman, I suppose. We had mentioned that we would be there again on Friday and he confirmed it with us again, (a bit TOO eagerly) and said he'll be there also. Jen and I must have had about 7 drinks each and Joe aka Assman only charged us for 2 each. Nice! It pays to be friendly with the people that serve you. Especially the ones that serve you alcohol. Oh I am headed off to another happy hour party tonight. Stay tuned for more Key adventures to come tomorrow!
