Today: Being amazed

Song: Time on my hands, since you've been away boy

Dream scribble: Jen, Dave, Peter and I are in my car. It is incredibly foggy outside and even all the windows are fogged up. Jen and Dave are sitting in the back but are leaning forward which makes my car seem very very small. For some reason, Dave has to take a shower really badly. It's night and there are no other cars out but there are cars parked awkwardly in the middle of the street and I have to drive around them carefully since I can't see anything through the fog. We reach a parking lot where we get out and walk to an apartment building. Open the front door and it's a huge shower inside. No curtains or door, just a big shower. Like they have in jail (guessing from what I've seen in movies) Dave asks, "So you guys need to shower too?" We say no and he proceeds to strip down and shower while we just stand by the door and talk. Water is splashing everywhere, coming out of different showerheads but the rest of us aren't getting wet at all. This is all perfectly normal to us. I need to go to my car for some reason and walk out. On the way to my car I see another car and a cop car parked next to it. A cop is standing there pointing his gun at the car. He looks up and sees me walking by. I raise my hands but he shoots me anyways. Slow motion all of a sudden. I see the bullet leave the gun and hit my leg. The pain is so real, it feels like my leg is exploding. My eyes close and I feel myself slowly falling to the floor. I lose conciousness.

OH. DAMN. Went to go see my buddy Koo perform today. He's a Christian singer/songwriter. This is the first time I've actually watched him perform. He was amazing. He is the best guitarist I know in real life. And his passion onstage is incredible. He just looks so happy performing his songs. The people he played with tonight (another guitarist, drummer and bass) were incredible too. The other guitarist was SO good and he was young, only 18. Hey I just realized. That was my first concert ever! It may not have been by a huge and famous star but it was even better cuz it was my friend. And seeing my friend do something that which is his passion in life made me so proud and happy.

Peter came to NY this weekend and I finally got my birthday present! He made me 4 CD's of songs that I used to listen to back in the day. Listening to them brought back all these memories. I love how music does that to you. You relive all those feelings you had back then. He wrote me a lil letter along with it and he wrote it in a style of an infomercial. I love informercials (I don't know why) and he knows that. Haha another strange fact about me! He had me in tears reading that letter, I was laughing so hard. I love personal, creative presents like that, where it's so evident that the person that gave it to you truly knows you and knows what you like. Thanks hun! "Snap it, fuck it and forget it!" =D
