Song: I just can't get you out of my head

I had myself a fun birthday celebration. Friday started off kinda shaky but it turned out well. Alba did end up coming out as did Lisse and Ruben. Dinner was really really good. Of course, cuz we had kalbi ! Yumminess! Funny incident at dinner; I went to the bathroom and I suspect Yvonne kept me there for a while so that Jen could speak to the waitress about bringing out a cake as a surprise. Upon my return to the table, the waitress turns to ME and asks, "So do you want me to bring out candles too?" Everybody at the table groaned while I said, "Huh?" Needless to say, the cake wasn't a surprise but it was still good. =)

After dinner we were off to Coco's for drinking and dancing. I didn't know that clubs don't serve soju ! Or draft beer for that matter! Oh well. So I had to do with yang joo (hard liqour), which makes me feel yucky and bottle beer, which was fine. But there was music and a dance floor and my crazy friends so that was a lot of fun! There was a little raised platfrom kinda thing right next to our table and a couple of people started dancing on that. Peter actually started stripping on it, throwing his shirt at me, and had his pants by his knees before nearly getting kicked out by the waiter! Hahaha!! But he did it for me so thank you. =) He also had the DJ play a certain slow song and took me up to the platform to dance. Aww nice~ I liked that. He also had him play some other songs that meant something to the two of us. *smile* His DJ friend was soo adorable too! I liked seeing them dance. They were like 2 lil kids. And Dave put on some nice light shows for us. He's so good, I would love to be half as good as him.

We did a LOT of dancing. I think Yvonne impressed the hell out of my guy friends there with her dancing. Cuz Yvonne is mad sexxy on the dance floor. Heh heh~ But I think she really got them with the "beer bottle" thing. Oh goodness! *censor* Anyways yes there was a lot of dancing or more like, gettin freaky on the dance floor. Oh gosh there was this one girl (not from our party) that a couple of the guys knew and she kept coming over to us and freaking EVERY SINGLE GUY in our group. And she kept coming back! Yvonne, Jen and I kept laughing at her and getting a bit annoyed. Honestly, she was making herself look so bad. The way she was acting was just too much and we kept trying to run away from her. I think Yvonne summed it up best when she said, "Somebody wants to get laid tonight." Oh we're so bad!

Thanks to everyone who came out that night! (Even though most of them don't know about this journal. Hee hee~) Thanks especially to Yvonne, Jen and Peter who, in their own ways, really made sure that it was a good night for me and that I had fun. I love you guys~

Oops! There must be some kind of misunderstanding here. I had mentioned earlier that I was half Puerto Rican but I was kidding! It's something that my buddy here at work (who's Puerto Rican) and I joke about. That would be cool tho if I was. I wonder how different I would look.

Gosh I have a lot to write today don't I? My buddies at work (The Angels) got me the most chocolateyest cake ever, complete with candles and sang me happy birthday. =) I am so blessed.

Just found a poem I wrote a few months back.

Gold yellow light
Extended past my outstretched arms
Enveloped me in its warmth
I basked in it a while
There was laughter there
This was heaven
But we were only human,
Momentarily caught in the playground of angels
Lucky fools, we tried to keep it in our grasp
Tightly held fists could not contain
The elusive yellow light
So now I look back and see
Past my outstretched arms
Just beyond my reach
Gold yellow light
