I was telling her about some good Korean movies to watch and she suggested I put em up on my journal. "Shiri" is a movie I saw at a screening here in NY a few years ago. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed at how much Korean movies had improved. It's playing again in select theaters this week in NY so I'm assuming it might be playing in some other big cities around the US also. You can also get it here. It's also subtitled in English and Chinese.

I also recommend "Musa". Jung Woo Sung looks really hot in this movie! His fight scenes are really cool.

Other movies to watch are Il Mare (which I haven't seen but heard good reviews about it), JSA, Yupki Girl, Friend (Chingoo), Libera Me, and Beat (another great movie with Jung Woo Sung!).

So have I told you that I'm half Korean and half Puerto Rican? =) Heh heh heh! I already love Puerto Rican food and Lisse is teaching me the language too. New word I learned today? Boriqua!! Hahaha! She once tried to teach me to merengue but I couldn't do it as smoothly as her. I was more reggaeing than merengueing. Anyways today, she had me say my new word to all the Puerto Ricans here in the office. She says I have a cute accent when I say it. Of course Louie had say I couldn't be Puerto Rican until I had some in me. What a Louie thing to say!
